The Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Abolition Society asks the abolitionists of Massachusetts to make pledges. On the first page, Daniel Mann (Treasurer), A. A. Phelps (Chairman), and E.G. Leach (Secretary) give, on behalf of the Executive Committee, the history of the Societýs nine-thousand-dollar debt as well as its financial situation, and asks for contribution.
