Biographical or historical data
Roy Greenaway taught high school English and served as an inheritance tax appraiser in Fresno County (California) during the 1950s and 1960s. In the same time period, he was a member of the Young Democrats and held several key positions on the California Democratic Council. He was actively involved in the presidential and senate campaigns. Since 1968, he has served as legislative aide to Senator Alan Cranston in Washington, D.C.
