  • Includes selections from "La Calandria" by Bernardo Dovizzi da Bibiena (s.f. Enciclopedia dello spettacolo) and detailed description of scenographies designed by Andrea Nannoccio (M2), the music was composed by Piero Mannucci (P1 v)

  • Library's c. 2 has 19th century red morocco binding, with gilt ornaments and gilt spine, new endpapers.
  • Library's c. 3 has a ca. contemporary, elaborately gold-tooled Roman binding (per Nicholas Barker). It incorporates four bees on front and back covers, "D. Hippolita Normanda" on the front cover, and the initials P.M. on the back cover. It is probably not the original binding, as the textblock is closely trimmed. Three bookplates on front pastedown: FP, Thos. Gaisford, Laurentius Currie.
  • Library's copy 1 and 3 have the upper margin cut sharply, but without loss of text.
