  • Ill. are wood engravings by various hands with some relief halftones. Plates are partly hand colored. Plate xvi is printed black over pink. Plate xi, a chromolithograph after Alphonse Mucha, is given as an example of the poster. Reproduced as a slightly larger hand-colored wood engraving with added text, it serves as t.p. in both vols. Both t.p.'s bear a pencilled "D." (perhaps for the colorist?). The same enlargement, uncolored, is repeated as frontispiece in both vols
