Y. Sherman delivers chief address at centennial celebration held by schools. -- Athens [Ill.] honors martyr, centennial exercises held by school children and Grand Army post. -- Lincoln as pattern Roosevelt's theme at cabin of birth, "Emancipator mighty man of nation," says president in eulogy at Hodgenville, Ky., nation dedicates hut shrine, executive lays corner stone on Kentucky farm where martyr first saw the light, noted men pay brilliant tributes. -- Banquet proves brilliant affair. -- Banquet cooking is a revelation ... figures of raw materials necessary to feast 750 persons are startling, five barrels of oysters, thirty-five steers and 350 guinea fowls are utilized, total of 5,600 glasses are used in the four course. -- Clock moves house to honor Lincoln, timepiece in Oklahoma legislature stops at exact hour of martyr's birth and ominous sign leads body to adjourn in memory. -- Great men the noblest asset, British Ambassador Bryce pays tribute. -- France mourns martyr's death ...
