Spine design identical to that used on Longfellow's 'Hyperion' published by David Bogue in 1853 (see McLean O 393) and in [1857?] (see McLean O 394). Boards with bevelled edges; a.e.g. With binder's ticket: "Bound by Leighton Son and Hodge". With bookseller's label: "Sharland. Bookseller, Stationer, & Bookbinder. 33. High Street, Southampton.".
