Conserved, rebound in paper, and housed in a tan bloth box (12/2017). Armorial bookplate of the Barton Library. Ownership inscription of Narcissus Luttrell ("Nar. Luttrell His Book 1682") on front flyleaf recto. Ink stamp of Richard Heber on front flyleaf recto. Provenance inscription in the hand of Thomas Pennant Barton on front flyleaf recto. Inscription of authorial attribution in the hand of Narcissus Luttrell on title page ("ye Duke of Buckingham"). Interleaved, with corresponding passages from the plays parodied within the text inscribed on the blank leaves in a hand ascribed by the Heber catalog to Narcissus Luttrell (Catalogue of the library of Richard Heber, part 2, lot no. 906).
