It had 6 plates after drawings by James Moore, finished and etched by J. Schnebbelie and aquatintinted by Parkyns. See Abbey, II, 1. Parkyns published a single vol. with 72 plates under the same title in 1792 (1793, according to introd., p. vii), but considered the present, second edition to be "a new work" (introd., p. ix)
- Contains 99 unnumbered plates, though the indexes lists 13 more with asterisk that were unavailable at publication but would be offered later to purchasers at moderate charge
