Summary
S. Alfred Steinthal writes William Lloyd Garrison to inform him that his good friends Mr. Henry J. Wilson and Reverend T. R. Gladstone will be visiting the United States on behalf of the "British, Continental and General Federation for the Abolition of Government Regulation of Prostitution". Steinthal states that there appears to be attempts to impose an American equivalent of the Contagious Diseases Act, and asserts that the American public ought be made aware of the consequences that this act has produced in Great Britain
