Summary
Elizabeth Pease Nichol writes William Lloyd Garrison and Nathaniel Peabody Rogers of her pleasure at the reception they have received in Darlington, but notes her shame at the welcome accorded to them by the English abolitionists in London, and unfavorably compares the English abolitionist fervor with that of Scotland (and the "half-Scotch" Darlington). Pease Nichol invites Garrison and Rogers to pay her a visit, and notes that her mother will be staying in London "until the middle or end of next week"
