Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in early calfskin panelled in blind. The spine is ruled in blind with the title stamped in gilt. The bookplates of Birket Foster and Louis H. Silver are present on the front pastedown, with Foster's bookplate also appearing on the rear pastedown. The autograph of John Mitford, dated 1804 with the inscription "With Ben: Jonson's autograph" is present on the recto of the front free endpaper. The autograph of W.A. White (William Augustus?), dated 23 April, [18]95 along with the price paid ("Pickering, London 6.6.0.") is present on the recto of the front flyleaf. An autograph appearing to be that of Ben Jonson (Su[m] Ben: Jonsonij) is present on the title page, along with his motto (Tanqua[m] Exploratur). In this copy, leaves b7 and b8 are wanting. Housed with this copy is a late 19th/early 20th century bibliographical inscription on a loose slip. The volume was formerly housed in a leather-covered box that contains Birket Foster's bookplates.
