Summary
Bound manuscript armorial of 101 leaves, the first 90 of which contain hand-painted and colored coats of arms of the English nobility. Coats of arms are numbered 48 through 510 and organized into groups with names of corresponding peers/peerages listed chronologically by monarch, beginning with William I and ending with Elizabeth I. Individual entries are comprised of four elements: the coat of arms, name, relevant biographical/genealogical information, and blazon, with each element written in a different hand. The final 11 leaves lack coats of arms or decoration, are written in a different hand/hands than the main body of the manuscript, and document the peerages of James I and Charles I
