Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in modern black goatskin with the title stamped in gilt onto the spine. Leaf dimensions: 32.3 x 23.2 cm. The three blank leaves are wanting. Early manuscript foliation, in both arabic and roman numerals, is present on each leaf. Large initial spaces decorated with illuminated initials showing white vines over fields of blue, green, and red, including a three-quarter illuminated white vine border containing the arms of the Boncompagni family on the first page of the main text ([3́] recto). The ink stamp of Walter Ashburner is present on all illuminated pages. Early marginalia is present throughout. The lower margin of [24́] verso is torn away and repaired with no losses to text.
