The bookplate of the Business Historical Society, Inc., with the ink cancellation stamp of the Baker Library is present on both front pastedowns. The embossed stamp of James Mavor, University of Toronto, is present on both front flyleaves and the embossed stamp of the University of Toronto Library is present on the title page of vol. 1. The title pages of both volumes contain the perforation stamp of the Boston Public Library. The autograph of William Strickland, in an early hand, is present at the head of the title page of vol. 1.
